Fulri Lalta Jan Kalyan Samiti, registered in the year 2022, is an organization dedicated to improve the lives of rural and urban communities in India. It is crucial to address issues like poverty, environmental degradation, and health hazards that affect living conditions. Recognizing these challenges, our organization aims to raise awareness about education, health, hygiene, and the profound impact of the environment on human well-being. Our organization has worked in the Son Bhadra sub-division & nearby areas of Ghorawal Block. An awareness program on health has been organized in Marsada, Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh. In a commendable community initiative, two non-formal education (NFE) schools were established in Bardiya, new basti gram panchyat of Ghorawal Block of Sonbhadra District. The initiative aimed to provide education and learning opportunities for underprivileged children who were previously unable to attend formal schools. A total of 66 children were

Women Empowerment Program

An impactful women awareness program was conducted in Son Bhadra District's local villages. The program aimed to empower and educate women on their rights, health, and overall well-being. With 72 active participants, the program included interactive sessions, workshops, skill development training, and awareness campaigns. It focused on empowering women, promoting health and hygiene practices, and enhancing their skills for improved socio-economic opportunities. The program created a supportive environment, fostering knowledge sharing and confidence-building among the participants.

(Self-Help Group) Formation Program

FLJKS successfully organized an SHG (Self-Help Group) Formation Program in various village panchayats of Son Bhadra District. The program aimed to promote economic empowerment and financial inclusion among women in rural communities. Through a series of meeting sessions, capacity building workshops, and interactive discussions, participants were guided on the benefits and process of forming self-help groups. They were provided with the knowledge and skills necessary for managing and sustaining these groups. The program emphasized the importance of collective saving, income generation activities, and skill development.

Panchayat Member’s Training

A highly impactful training program on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was conducted for panchayat members in multiple village panchayats of Son Bhadra District. The training aimed to enhance their understanding of the SDGs and equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to drive sustainable development at the grassroots level. With active participation from over 50 panchayat members, the training program proved to be a resounding success. It encompassed interactive workshops, group discussions, and expert lectures, providing a comprehensive overview of the 17 SDGs and their targets. Participants gained insights into aligning local development plans, budgets, and policies with the SDGs, ensuring that their efforts are in line with the global agenda. The training program also emphasized the importance of data monitoring and reporting, enabling panchayat members to track progress and make informed decisions. Additionally, participants explored strategies for stakeholder engagement, recognizing the significance of collaboration with community members, civil society organizations, and the private sector.
